National travelling between the South and North
- Nationals wishing to depart for another country by through North Korea are required to submit the following documents to the Immigration Officer and go through immigration inspection.
- Passport, visitation verification certificate, entry/departure card - Nationals of either Koreas seeking to visit the other must submit the following documents to the Immigration Officer at the immigration port and go through immigration inspection.
- Visitation verification certificate (North/South Korea visitation verification certificate) Issued by the Minister of National Unification
- Departure card composed by visitor him/herself
※ Geumgang Mountain tourists may submit Visitation applicant list in place of the visitation verification certificates.
South Korean bound for another country that are transiting through North Korea
- South Korean nationals seeking passage through North Korea are required to submit the following documents to the Immigration Officer at the immigration port and go through immigration inspection.
- Passport, visitation verification certificate, entry/departure card
South Korean bound for South Korea that are transiting through North Korea from another country
- South Korean nationals seeking entry by through North Korea are required to submit the following documents to the Immigration Officer at the immigration port and go through immigration inspection.
