Smart Entry Service
SES (Smart Entry Service) is an advanced immigration clearance system of the Republic of Korea that conducts immigration inspection using passport and biometric information.
It allows travelers to complete immigration inspection through automated gates instead of the face-to-face inspection with an immigration officer. Similar systems are also operated in other countries and regions, such as U.S. (Global Entry), Hong Kong (e-Channel), Netherlands (Privium), and Australia (SmartGate).
