    • A child under age of Residency (F-5) status holder and has been staying in Korea longer than 2 years, and is recognized who has necessity to live in Korea (except dual nationality holder including Korean nationality)

      - 60 years old or older who receives pension from abroad. The amount is as much as last year's GNI for each person.
      - The person who paid KRW 500,000 or more as last year's property tax, or the person who has equivalent property(family member's property included).

When Overseas Koreans (F-4) is approved to change his/her status into Permanent Residency (F-5), Does the spouse who is staying as Visiting and Staying with Relatives (F-1) have to change his/her status into Residency (F-2-3) ?

    • A major according to Korean civil law, who has ability for his/her family's livelihood, and is well behaved, a person of culture for continuous living in Korea
    • And who has ability by below area.
      - Scientific area: the person with recommendation by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology according to award experience, insertion of thesis in SCI, degree of quotation, or research performance.
      - Education area: the person with recommendation by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology according to insertion of thesis in SSCI and/or A&HCI, degree of quotation, and research performance or the person working as full-time lecturer or higher position in professional college with recommendation by Minister of Education, Science and Technology.
      - Management area: the person with recommendation by the head of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, or Federation of Korean Industries, who is working in a foreign/domestic enterprise having not less than 300 working employees and not less than 8 billion of capital as a full time director or at a higher position, the person who is working in domestic branch as a director for a year or longer among who worked as a manager or executive in world best 500 enterprises selected by world’s famous economic journals such as UNCTAD, FORTUNE, FORBES, BUSINESS WEEK(USA), ECONOMIST (England) within recent 3 years.

    • Who contributed for society, welfare, employment
      - Who largely contributed for society, welfare, employment in Korea, and has recommendation by Minister of related ministry
      - Who largely contributed for society, welfare field through 5 years' volunteer service as a clergyman
      - Who contributed for domestic employment by hiring 100 full time Korean worker or more as an officer at a domestic branch of a foreign corporation or at a foreign invested corporation
    • Who contributed for national security and public order
      - Who contributed for national security as distributing key information such as terror, made effort regarding national secrets or prevention of developed industrial information outflow, and has recommendation by foreign relations related minister
      - Who contributed for exposure of international criminal syndicate regarding human traffic, drug, illegal entry, passport forgery, etc. and has recommendation by the head of investigating authorities

Eligible
    • Person who holding working visit (H-2) visa and meet the all qualifications as follows.
      - Working in same work place without changing work place more than 4 years in the manufacturing industry or agricultural or animal husbandry field except Seoul city.
      ※ In case of change work place in the same category of industry because of owing to unavoidable circumstance such as back wages or shutdown or abolishment of business is recognize as working continuously
      - Person who has more than 3 million thousand won or family's property who live in Korea together as proof of has a ability for maintain livelihood.
      - Person who earn more than gross national income for each person last year as an annual income from notice of Korea national bank or acquire a skill or technique through qualifying examination of Human resources development service of Korea in field as follows
