Who can Apply for Certificate of Registration No. for Real Estate Transaction

Where a foreigner who has not registered under “Procedures on Granting Registration Number for Real Estate Transaction of Private Entity (non Legal Entity), Foundation and Foreigner” intends to register real estate, he or she may apply for registration number for real estate transaction.
Where overseas Koreans with a foreign nationality who has reported domestic residency under Overseas Korean Act, he or she does not need to get certificate of registration number for real estate transaction and number of domestic residency report will be substituted for registration number for real estate registration of a foreigner.

How to Get Certificate Certificate of Registration for Real Estate Transaction

A foreigner who was granted registration number for real estate transaction from Immigration Office pursuant to “Procedures on Granting Registration Number for Real Estate Transaction of Private Entity (non Legal Entity), Foundation and Foreigner” and its regulations may apply for the certification.
Where overseas Koreans with a foreign nationality who has reported domestic residency under Overseas Korean Act , he or she does not need to get certificate of registration number for real estate transaction and number of domestic residency report will be substituted for registration number for real estate registration of a foreigner.

The scope of applicants is limited as below pursuant to Personal Information Protection Act by Public Entities.
